Robin Sharma

Ph.D. Candidate

Robin has expertise in creation of curriculum guides around serious and "commercial-off-the-shelf" (COTS) games. Before joining the TLC lab, he led the "Games for Learning" program at UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP). His thesis focuses on theory-based design of games for building geometrical understanding of adolescents. He is using a “value-added experimental design”, to evaluate the effectiveness of narrative as an instructional feature in games for mathematics. He is the winner of the inaugural TLC Lab video game tournament.
